Student Worker - Office of Institutional Effectiveness

Job Overview: Seeking a motivated undergraduate student to support the Office of Institutional Effectiveness in maintaining records, assisting with administrative tasks, supporting marketing communications and creative works, and contributing to department initiatives. 

Institutional Effectiveness serves as the support and resource center for strategic planning and continuous improvement at ETAMU. This position will report to the Director of Institutional Effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and update project tracking sheets in Microsoft Excel
• Input and maintain information in federal records database systems (access and data maintenance, use will be taught)
• Support departmental administrative functions
• Assist with survey data entry and basic tracking (will be taught if not already familiar with)
• Attend relevant departmental meetings
• Complete other assigned tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Current undergraduate student at A&M-Commerce
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes

Job Details:

• Up to 19 hours per week
• Flexible schedule to accommodate classes and homework
• On-campus position in Commerce, TX
• Work Study Permit required
