Honors College Student Worker/Peer Mentor

Seeking a self-motivated, multi-tasking, well organized, and professional student employee who possesses strong verbal and written communication skills to assist the Honors College GAT with HC 200 First Year Experience course as a peer mentor. Primary duties will include attending HC 200 First Year Experience sections during Fall 2024 and organizing new student programming and events. Additional duties may include staffing the Honors College office, attending recruiting events such as Mane Event Preview Day, and other prospective and current student outreach. 

 Prior experience as a mentor or other student engagement experience preferred. Must be available to attend HC 200 courses in Fall 2024 which meet Mondays at 10am, Mondays at 1pm, and Thursdays at 9:30am. You must be able to attend all three sections for the duration of the semester to be eligible for this position. Must be familiar with and able to use Outlook mail and Outlook calendar, Microsoft Word and Excel.  Applicant must be a current Honors College student in their second to fourth year.
