Federal Work Study Office Assistant

FEDERAL 

Work Study Office Assistant 

 

Currently seeking one worker for Fall 2024 with the possibility of continuing into Spring 2024. We are looking for a student who can work a minimum of 10 hours per week and not to exceed 20 hours per week over multiple days, during non-class, regular work week (M-F, 7:30A-4:30P).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with answering telephones, filing, running errands on campus, making copies, and other forms of office work.

Greet office guests, answer questions and direct to the proper individual(s).

• Organize and maintain workstations, meeting rooms, workrooms, break stations and seating areas in offices. 

• Increase skill set by participating in various office projects or duties with staff and faculty.

• Offer assistance to faculty daily. BE PROACTIVE.

• Maintain professional appearance and pleasant attitude.

• Do everything asked with efficiency and excellence. Students working in the HHP office must demonstrate professionalism and be proactive in all aspects of the job. They must be punctual, respectful of all people, and able to handle multiple requests for assistance at one time. They must be mature and represent the department well at all times while on the job.

  • ability to work in a fast-paced work environment 
  • good communication skills 
  • good computer skills (Word, Excel, etc)
  • punctual 
  • trustworthy 
  • MUST have a federal work-study permit for current semester
  • must have and maintain 3.0 or higher GPA
