Work Study – Athletics Learning Support Assistant (Thrower Center)
- Maintain study hall attendance by keeping track of student-athletes with assigned hours for objective based study hall (on-time, late, no show, etc.)
- Assist with creating academic objective-based tasks for completion during assigned study hall hours for designated student-athletes
- Monitor objective-based study hall for assigned student-athletes, checking to make sure they are completing their academic objectives/tasks during study hall
- Provide Athletic Academic Advisors and the Assistant Athletic Director with updates on student-athletes progress/completion of objective-based tasks
- Provide basic academic guidance and support to student-athletes while upholding academic integrity
- Must be able to maintain NCAA rules while working directly with student-athletes (failure to follow NCAA rules can result in immediate termination)
- Other duties as assigned to help the Assistant Athletics Director in Academics and Athletic Academic Advisors with day-to-day tasks as needed
